Celtic Legends Llanddwyn Island

I had the pleasure of exploring Llanddwyn Island with Geraint Hughes recently. It was more of a recon mission to see what we could do to represent the location in a different way. We decided in the end to do a number of trial drone sequences but we also just had to take a few stills.

I am wondering how we can represent the island within the framework of Celtic Legends? St Dwynwen is the obvious conclusion being the Welsh patron saint of Lovers. I think I would prefer to go during an overcast day to develop some mood in the images, possibly mist or some oncoming storm. I would look to include a figure in a medieval dress but only incidentally.  Until I can find some form of direction which avoids the usual cliches these images will have to suffice.

The church of St Dwynwen is integral within the ancient landscape.

What remains of the building frames the cross and lighthouse.

Being patron saint of lovers we found a small token.

A place for exploring or maybe to find some inner meaning?
